6th class graduation 2020

On an emotional evening in June, our 6th class pupils met at the school for the first time since March 12th 2020, when schools all over the country went into Lockdown. It was the occasion of their graduation from Kilmovee NS, remembering and celebrating eight years with their parents and teachers. The graduation took place in the school grounds in a socially-distanced manner. Fr. Vincent Sherlock paid tribute to the class, referencing their contribution as mass servers and acknowledged all they had missed out on in the final term of their final year. Principal, Mrs Warde, reminded the graduates of the many activities they had been involved with over the years and also the many adults who had been part of the tapestry of their school journey. Pupils were presented with special ‘Corona-virus’ themed hoodies and their 6th class certificates. Parents and staff extended best wishes to the final year students as they move forward to second level.
