Kilmovee NS held a ‘No-uniform’ day on Friday, December 3rd to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society. This fund-raiser was in association with Rebecca Regan’s ‘Dip for Courage’ 21 day challenge where she -along with family and friends – is jumping into the icy cold waters of Urlar lake for twenty-one consecutive days! Pupils wore their Christmas jumpers and donated generously to this deserving cause to support Marie Regan, mum of 5th class pupil, Keith, as she continues her treatment for bowel cancer.Children who received the sacrament of confirmation this year made their own individual contributions.
