There was huge excitement among the children of East Mayo who attended the East Mayo cross-country competitions at Melletts Hill in Swinford on Thursday, September, 23rd. This was the first time that this group of pupils had been away as a school group since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. Joy, exuberance and sheer delight was evident in the faces of the children – a step back towards ‘normality’!
