On Monday, October 1st, 2018, a special mass was held in Kilmovee N.S. to mark the occasion of the retirement of Mrs Denise Deery. She has taught in the school for thirty-one years , twenty-five of those as principal. Fr. Vincent Sherlock celebrated the mass and paid tribute to her dedication and commitment over those years. Incoming principal, Mrs Mary Warde, welcomed Mrs Deery’s family and members of the Board of Management to the mass. Presentations were made on behalf of the pupils. A parish function will take place in the local Community Centre on November 16th.
