Confirmation Retreat

Fifth and Sixth class pupils from Kilmovee, Tavrane and Kilkelly national schools travelled to The Fr. Peyton Centre in Attymass on Monday, February 18th 2019 for a Confirmation Retreat. The presentation was led by Fr. Steve Gibson of the Holy Cross Order. He and his co-presenter, Esther had a diverse and interesting array of activities planned for the day including a Treasure Hunt and the creating of Display Boards showcasing the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Fr. Vincent Sherlock joined the group and expressed his delight in observing all the confirmation pupils of the parish working together. The day passed quickly and all agreed that it had proved to be an uplifting and inspirational day for both staff and pupils. The parish confirmation takes place in Kilmovee church on April 6th at 12pm.
