On Thursday, April 7th, sixth class pupils – with some help from rang 5 -0rganised the first school Sale-of-Work since October 2019. Needless to say there was huge excitement and anticipation in advance of the much loved event. Most of the younger pupils didn’t know what to expect, but came prepared with purses, wallets and big shopping bags. Many thanks to our parents who donated toys, raffle prizes and baked some amazing treats. When receipts from the Sale-of-Work and subsequent raffle were totalled, almost 600 euro had been raised! Well done to our senior pupils for all their hard work. Fifty euro was donated to the Charlie Bird charities (Motor neurone association and Pieta), and the remainder will be used to offset the cost of school tour transport.
