Infants and First Class pupils from Kilmovee NS were invited to visit Ballaghaderreen Library recently as part of the ‘Summer Stars’ initiative. Summer Stars is an annual programme which promotes literacy and reading development. It takes place during the Summer months and focuses on encouraging children to develop and continue the reading habit during the Summer months. The Kilmovee pupils were treated to a session of story-telling and song. They were accompanied by class teacher, Mrs Amanda Shevlin and SNA, Mrs Angela Tordoff.
