As Catholic Schools Week drew to a close, pupils had an opportunity to make St. Brigid’s crosses as they prepared to celebrate the feast of one of Ireland’s patron saints. Sheila and Lorraine from our local Community Centre kindly demonstrated the ancient art and assisted the children as they created their versions of the distinctive Irish emblem.
