- Well done to Sixth Class pupil David McCann on his successful art entry in a county based competition organised by the Road Safety Authority for the promotion of Road Safety. David was invited to an awards ceremony in Mayo Education Centre and was delighted to learn that his picture is one of twelve included in a calendar produced by the RSA.
- Two teams from the school took part in the Annual Ballaghaderreen Credit Union Quiz, one in the Under Eleven category and one in the Under Thirteen category. Both teams claimed second prize in their respective sections. On the Under Eleven team were; Liam Frain, Oisín Duffy, Matthew Cafferky-Boylan and Peter Horan, while on the Under Thirteen team were Sean O’Dowd, Coilin Duffy, Caoimhe Duffy and Tom Horan.
- The boys of Third and Fourth Classes are congratulated on winning the County Final of the FAI Futsal Competition in Breaffy. This is the first time that the school has won this particular title.
